about

"I recently asked Tom Rose at Reveal Records if he would make me a sequence for an album's worth of new songs I'd recorded. He duly listened and supplied me with the sequence but also to my surprise, he asked me if I'd like to join his label and present a compilation of some of my earlier songs with two of the new tracks ("Here" and " In The Real World") ahead of the new studio album. This is what you have here, Selected Works, Reveal's primer of my catalogue. I hope you enjoy it."

What they say...

“Strong on melodies and Marxist ideals.”
MOJO

" A triumph in simplicity.”
Americana UK

"Sophisticated but unshowy, Peter Millson [has] an ability to craft gentle tunes that owe a debt to the clean-cut craft of Paddy McAloon and Lloyd Cole.”
The Times

Never pushy but rewards handsomely, with tunes that stick and insights that chime.

Runt-era Todd Rundgren, a little Emitt Rhodes and Ron Sexsmith.

Peter James Millson’s gloriously melodic 2014 debut ‘Sweet The Love That Meets Return’ (produced by Danny George Wilson) drew critical comparisons with the likes of Paddy McAloon, Jackson Browne and Roddy Frame.
